What is iTheorie?

iTheorie is an online driving theory course from LENS Verkeersleermiddelen. It guides you through the material with explanations, exercises and practice exams. Start by understanding the theory, then build your preparation with exam practice.

The package includes a digital textbook and 50 practice exams. There is no paper book or physical card to deliver.

02 / Your course

For car, motorcycle or moped

Choose the course you want to study when you first activate your code:

You buy one code and use it to choose one course. The package does not give simultaneous access to all three categories. You choose your category when you first activate the code.

03 / Getting started

From ordering to learning in three steps

   Order your access code

   Enter your email address on this page, tick the required consent boxes and pay through Mollie. Check your email address carefully: this is where we send your order.

2. 2

   Receive your code and invoice

   Once your payment is confirmed, you receive an order email with your access code, instructions, invoice and terms and conditions as PDFs.

3. 3

   Activate your code with iTheorie

   Open the link in your order email and follow the activation steps. Select your language first, then choose the course you want to study.

04 / Your preparation

Study the theory and take practice exams

Use the practice exams to find out which topics you understand and where you need more explanation. Simply memorising answers is less useful when a traffic situation is presented differently.

A practical approach:

1. Study a topic and check that you understand the explanation.
2. When you make a mistake, find out why your answer was incorrect.
3. Revisit the topics you find difficult.
4. Use the practice exams to assess your preparation.

A good practice score is useful, but it does not guarantee that you will pass the official theory test.

05 / Validity

How long can you use iTheorie?

iTheorie states a validity period of three years from purchase. You receive the specific expiry date with your access code. Activation does not start a new validity period.

This does not mean you can repeat exams without limits for three years. You can take each of the 50 practice exams once. The free revision course lets you take the same exams once more. That revision course ends when you have completed all its exams, or three months after starting it, whichever comes first.
